Van Schalkwyk's tatest book in the SAAF In Profile Artwork series is now available. This is the first volume of three books that will cover the colour and markings of the Mirage III family during their SAAF service. Volume 1 covers the development and progress of the Mirage IIICZ and Mirage IIIBZ colour and markings from 1962 until 2010.
The book consists of 56 pages, including the cover pages and contain side profiles, as well as upper and lower views of the different colour schemes. Every scheme is also illustrated with photographs of the aircraft featuring in the profiles.
Published by renowned profile artist and SAAF historian Piet van Schalkwyk, who is also co-editor of the popular South African Colours and Markings series.
